Overall Job Summary

Tractor Supply Co. is seeking a motivated Legal Summer Intern to join our Legal team for a 11-week paid internship in the Nashville/Brentwood, TN area. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various legal matters and contribute to the success of our legal department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research on a variety of topics, including contracts, employment law, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property.
  • Document Review: Assist in reviewing and summarizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Compliance Support: Work with legal professionals to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Litigation Support: Assist in litigation matters, including document management and preparation for legal proceedings.
  • Contract Management: Participate in contract drafting, review, and management processes.
  • Policy and Procedure Review: Collaborate with the legal team to review and update company policies and procedures as needed.
  • Legal Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to legal matters for internal and external stakeholders.
