Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our In-House Attorney Collections team. This role is integral to executing our litigation strategy across multiple states and requires a proactive approach in managing documentation, court dockets, deadlines, and case-specific information. Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with in-house and collections attorneys to execute litigation strategy, including handling tasks such as printing, copying, and mailing documents to support litigation phases, filings, and correspondence.Track and monitor court dockets across various states to identify deadlines, hearings, trial dates, and case decisions.Maintain accurate case-specific information within the matter management system and attorneys’ Outlook calendars.Organize, update, and manage files within company systems, including scanning and uploading mail, affidavits, pleadings, and other essential documents.Prepare and handle letters, check requests, electronic filings, and various mailings to support the collection process.Review and route incoming mail from courts, opposing counsel, and consumers.Ensure that time-stamped copies of court documents are uploaded into the matter management system.Perform e-filing with the court and manage additional tasks as required to support litigation and case management processes. QualificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines across various jurisdictions.Proficiency with matter management systems and Microsoft Outlook.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.
