Position: Litigation AttorneyLocation: Remote CST (CA BAR license required)Job Type: Full Time-Contract Role (approximate expected duration 3-5 years)Experience Level: 1-3 yearsCompensation: $140K/Yr.-$185K/Yr. BOE Responsibilities:Case Management: Handle all phases of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, defending and drafting depositions, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and draft various legal documents, such as motions, briefs, pleadings, and settlement agreements.Client Representation: Represent clients in court and at mediation or arbitration hearings.Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing legal advice and updates on case progress.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements for clients.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Qualifications:Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Bar Admission: Must be a member in good standing of the state bar (California bar REQUIRED).Experience: 1-3 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in legal research and case management.Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficient in legal research tools and software.Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work independently and as part of a team, and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
