Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Specialist (Advanced Planning Writer) to join our team on a one-year REMOTE contract basis to support the North Carolina Medicaid and Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Program. This role is integral in crafting vital Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) and related documentation for strategic planning, implementation, and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) and supporting materials.Facilitate APD kickoff, review, and closeout meetings.Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on NC FAST APDs.Draft submission letters for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive APD development.Simplify complex concepts into clear and concise written content, ensuring compliance with CMS regulations and program management standards.

Required Skills

Exceptional writing and documentation capabilities.Strong communication skills and proficiency in stakeholder engagement.Ability to articulate complex information in an accessible format.Knowledge of CMS requirements and Medicaid systems.Familiarity with project management best practices.Collaborative mindset, with experience working in diverse team environments.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in technical writing, preferably within the healthcare or Medicaid sectors.Proven track record in project leadership and stakeholder interaction.Strong organizational and project management skills.
