Legal Operations Professional [Remote in PST Time Zone]
Legal.io is working with a leading tech company seeking an experienced Legal Operations Professional for a 6 month contract. This is a fully remote position, full-time (40 hours per week), on a contract-basis with available benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Candidates must be based in the PST time zone.
Scope of Work
Title: Legal Operations
Experience: 5+ years
Location: Remote (US) - Must be based in PST time zone
Hours: 40 Hours / WeekDuration: 6 MonthsPay Rate: $65 - $75 / hour ($130,000 - $150,000 annualized)
Job Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership and driving efficiencies for the team
- Collaborating both within the team and with external stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining a hub for knowledge sharing and team alignment
- Contract management duties, as assignedAssisting with budget management
- Taking meeting minutes
- Evaluating and improving intake and legal work
- Supporting and project managing a new legal intake matter management tool
- Developing a data reporting and collecting strategy
- Setting, measuring and improving standards in delivery and quality improving processes to make the team more efficient
- Coordinating training with various stakeholders across the organization.
- Manage ad-hoc assignments as required or requested
- Proficiency in contract management software
- Experience with budget management tools
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Share Point)
- Knowledge of legal research databases and toolsFamiliarity with using AI tools such as copilot or chat GPT.
