They are seeking a dynamic regulatory attorney to join their General Counsel in the growing legal function. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your regulatory expertise and legal acumen in a startup environment where your contributions will help shape the future of maternal health. QUALIFICATIONSJD and member in good standing of a US state bar.5+ years of experience in healthcare law.Expertise in healthcare regulations including telehealth laws, fraud and abuse regulations (such as AKS, FCA), corporate practice of medicine (CPOM), scope of practice, and Medicaid reimbursement rulesStrong familiarity with telehealth specific business models such as Friendly PC's.Comfortability in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Strong passion for maternal and child health. RESPONSIBILITIESAdvise on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters and ensure adherence to applicable federal and state regulations, including telehealth, privacy laws, Medicaid reimbursement, and fraud and abuse laws.Work closely with various teams across the organization (e.g., product, clinical, marketing, and operations) to provide practical legal advice and ensure that regulatory compliance is integrated into all aspects of the business.Provide strategic legal counsel on healthcare regulations, focusing on telehealth and women’s health, and contribute to business decisions that align with the company’s growth and mission.Proactively identify regulatory risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s compliance and positioning it for success in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.
