About The Job
The YouTube Business Product Activation team is responsible for bringing products to market. The team works with both business and product leaders to develop, launch, and land YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem. The team designs go-to-market strategies, ensure launch readiness, prioritize product adoption opportunities for creators, work to understand the needs of partners, creators, and users to shape product roadmaps, collect and synthesize user feedback, and track performance.
Within the Trust and Safety team on YouTube Product Activation, you will focus on preventing abuse on the platform, protecting the community from harmful content and improving the creator policy experience. You will collaborate cross-functionally with YouTube Product Management, Engineering, User Experience and Research, Policy, Public Policy, Public Relations, Legal, Marketing and Support teams. The goal is to protect the community from abusive content and adversarial actors while building trust in the systems and ensuring creators can reach resolution for their policy issues.
As a Product Activation Manager, you will drive strategy and operations for YouTube's Trust and Safety team, from ensuring go-to-market readiness on product launches to understanding market feedback and conducting analyses around creator impact. You will be a subject matter expert on how YouTube keeps the platform safe, with an immediate focus on YouTube Community Guidelines and improving the policy experience for YouTube creators.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Develop go-to-market strategies and plans to support YouTube Trust and Safety launches, including impact analysis, adoption goals, communication levers, support for viewers and creators, and messaging. Shape product roadmap by analyzing and representing viewer and partner feedback.Execute quantitative analyses using SQL and spreadsheets to translate datasets about partners, products, and users into insights. Drive operational excellence, including setting and tracking OKRs and driving quarterly and annual planning with cross-functional teams.Act as the owner for business strategies, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Legal, Public Policy, Marketing, Comms), and structure, track, and communicate work-streams with cross-functional teams and executives.
