Job Purpose Summary
- The Legal and Compliance Operations Manager will be responsible for building scalable processes and increasing efficiency and operational excellence. This role is responsible for improving efficiency, managing compliance programs, streamlining legal processes, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met across the organization. We are looking for a leader with strong operational capabilities and will not hesitate to “roll up the sleeves” personally to attack challenges head-on by working with stakeholders throughout the company.
What you will do
- Assess and improve the operational functionality of the legal team and other teams who rely upon the legal team through the implementation and management of proper systems, processes, and technologies.
- Support the development and operation of the healthcare compliance program.
- Partner with the finance team and Vice President, Legal in managing and tracking the legal team’s operating budget and planning.
- Identify and track metrics, KPIs, and other operations reporting to better inform team decision-making and management.
- Drive optimal utilization of technology by the legal team, including selecting, implementing, and managing technology resources.
- Oversee and improve existing technology systems initiatives, including those related to contracts lifecycle management, litigation case management, and the automation of incoming legal requests.
- Facilitate sound and fiscally responsible processes for sourcing, selecting, contracting with, and managing law firms and other external service providers.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure remediation efforts are in place for any identified gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and compliance integration across departments.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Compliance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience supporting globally-focused legal teams and internal stakeholders.
- Must have experience selecting, implementing, and working with technology solutions that support legal and compliance teams.
- Impeccable organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively globally and cross-functionally.

Further, pay that is offered is based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications and certain degrees.
