Our client has been providing full-service litigation and transactional legal services to Fortune 100 corporations, small, and middle-market companies, closely-held, and family-owned businesses, and individuals! Currently, they are looking to expand their team by bringing on a Legal Administrative Assistant .

Salary/Hourly Rate

$50k – $60k

Position Overview

Our client’s Real Estate team is seeking a driven and professional Administrative Assistant to assist the team and help with closing contracts.

Responsibilities Of The Legal Administrative Assistant

  • Document Preparation and Management: Assist in the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, leases, and closing documents.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, scheduling meetings, answering inquiries, and relaying messages to attorneys and other team members.
  • File Maintenance: Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files following firm policies and legal requirements.
  • Calendar Management: Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and deadlines for attorneys in the Real Estate Department.
  • Transaction Coordination: Assist in the coordination of real estate transactions, including liaising with clients, title companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Research: Conduct basic legal and factual research to assist attorneys in case preparation.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, track billable hours, and manage expense reports.
  • General Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mail distribution.

Qualifications For The Legal Administrative Assistant

  • 2+years of legal administrative assistant experience is required .
  • Knowledge of Real Estate documents and procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus!
