We are actively seeking Advertising Technology attorneys located anywhere in the United States with the following qualifications:

  • JD Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.
  • Experience working with advertising technology companies and agreements related to supporting advertising technology and a strong understanding of advanced digital / programmatic advertising, custom/branded content sponsorships, marketing, and media buying and IOs.
  • Experience negotiating supply-side agreements, DSP agreements, data licensing agreements and IOs with advertisers, agencies, publishers and SSPs, and a demonstrated ability to translate legal requirements into actionable advice for the ad sales and ad ops teams.
  • A solid understanding of digital advertising technology, internet technology and cloud computing technology and familiarity with insertion orders and IAB terms and conditions for digital advertising.
  • Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.

Support our multinational corporate clients on the following:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with publishers, advertisers, and other content providers, SSPs, DSPs, advertisers, ad agencies, and other ad partners.
  • Advising on data privacy issues in the context of commercial transactions in the advertising, marketing, and technology space.
  • Reviewing advertising content, including creative, claims, sponsorships, sweepstakes, giveaways, and digital assets.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations; advising stakeholders regarding these laws and regulations.
  • Supporting negotiations with publishers and supply-side partners.
  • Developing compliance processes and procedures in collaboration with business partners.
