The Ford Agency is seeking a Tech focused Patent Agent for a DC-based law firm. This person will prepare patent applications and contribute technical expertise to litigation proceedings. This is a great role for a very detail-oriented and experience patent professional who thrives in a fast-paced, busy environment and enjoys working with a close-knit team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparation of patent applications
• Lend technical expertise to litigation proceedings
• Collaborate with team on strategy

Qualifications Include:

• At least 3 years patent experience
• Familiarity with USPTO domestic and foreign practices
• Professional technical background in engineering, computer science, or physics
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
