MLB PLAYERS, INC. LAW CLERK

Position Summary :Part time Winter/Spring (October 2024 to April 2025) Business Affairs Law Clerk at MLB Players, Inc., a subsidiary of the Major League Baseball Players Association (“MLBPA” )Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) :The Law Clerk will work directly with attorneys and business parties at MLB Players, Inc., which oversees the business affairs and licensing matters for MLBPA. Primary responsibilities include researching legal issues, including those relating to intellectual property, sports and contract law, and assisting with the enforcement of intellectual property rights. The Law Clerk also will assist with licensing agreements, trademark proceedings and other projects as needed.


Qualification s:• 2L or 3L with excellent academic credentia ls• Course work and practical experience in intellectual property law and the sports, media or entertainment industries are a pl us• Strong proficiency in legal resear ch• Excellent legal analysis and writing skil ls• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively orally and in writi ng• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
