Fidelity National Financial (NYSE:FNF), a Fortune 500 Company, is the United States’ largest provider of commercial and residential mortgage and diversified services. Fidelity National Title Group, a member of the Fidelity National Financial family of companies, is hiring a Recoupment Counsel to fill an attorney position in Omaha, NE.

  Responsibilities :   o Reviewing underlying title insurance claims to identify parties liable for the Company’s loss/expense. o Developing and executing a plan to recoup the Company’s loss/expense from liable parties. o Negotiating settlements and resolutions with liable parties, opposing counsel, third party insurers, etc. o Retaining counsel and directing litigation strategy when. o Appearing as the Company’s representative in court proceedings, mediations, depositions, settlement conferences, etc.   Requirements :   o Must excel at written/verbal communication, negotiation and organization. o Must take initiative and be highly self-motivated. o JD from accredited law school. o Licensed, and in good standing to practice law, in any U.S. state/D.C.
