Job Description

Caesars Sportsbook a leading sports book operator, is growing rapidly. We are conducting a search for a Trading Compliance Specialist to join the team. Reporting to our Assistant Manager of Trading Compliance, Assistant Director of Trading Compliance, though our Vice President of Compliance and Licensing, you will be responsible for reviewing available wager offerings and markets within trading as well as oversee the wager approval process within multiple jurisdictions. In this position, you will perform a range of duties, including evaluating all current and new compliance regulations for wagers and future offerings. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with in-depth knowledge of the latest industry procedures and regulations.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Review and update the Multi-Jurisdictional Wager Approval spreadsheet/Catalog against each jurisdiction’s regulations for accuracy and compliance. Perform daily audits of the live wagering environment. 
  • Provide updates on any wager approvals or findings.
  • Ensure accuracy of the approved wager sheet and catalog in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Submit wagers and market types for regulatory approval and update internal spreadsheets as required.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication with compliance and trading department to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.
  • Conduct research and present findings to the Management Team.
  • Must be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment, ensuring decisions and management communication is occurring in a timely fashion across all geographical areas of operations.
  • Notify Assistant Manager and Director of any discrepancies, irregularities, or potential trading compliance violations.
  • Perform periodic trading audits on approved wagers.
  • Work on projects under the guidance of the Assistant Manager and Director. 

 

What You Will Need:

  • Contribute to a culture dedicated to telling the truth through data, by demonstrating the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognizing standards required by a regulated business.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and strong writing abilities.
  • A strong background with Excel, Word, Adobe, experience with web-based data visualization tools Power BI and Confluence.
  • A college degree is desired; however not necessary if candidate has experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Sports Betting processes and regulations.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Compliance, Auditing, Sports Trading, or similar position.
  • Ability to pay close attention to multiple datasets in detail.
  • Ability to work weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be 21+ years of age or older.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and type for extended periods of time                                          
  • Must be able to talk on the phone for extended periods of time                                                    
  • Regular attendance in the office
