About The Role
FTI is seeking an experienced consultant to help grow our Technology segment's Legal Operations offerings and to support our growing pipeline of implementation projects. FTI's Legal Operations consultants advise and assist our clients on legal technology strategy, solutions, and systems implementations. The Senior Consultant role will work directly with FTI's Legal Operations leaders as well as other industry leading subject matter experts across legal and corporate disciplines to best serve our clients.
What You'll Do
- Identify and recommend legal technology improvements that are informed by knowledge of legal operations best practices and legal technology solutions.
- Assess client's existing legal technology to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and prepare roadmaps with prioritized recommendations.
- Lead corporate clients with the selection of legal technology solutions.
- Lead implementation stages and activities for legal technology solutions and their add-on offerings/modules (discover, design, configure, migrate, integrate, test, train, and deploy).
- Prepare use cases and translate recommendations into system design documents that are consumable by key stakeholders, including legal, procurement, sell-side functions, IT, finance, etc.
- Lead design and coordinate implementation of key integrations with other corporate ecosystem solutions such as Ariba, Coupa, Dynamics, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, etc.
- Configure legal technology solutions to meet design requirements.
- Coordinate with our solutions development team leveraging FTI's testing and controls methodology for more complex customizations.
- Lead testing, training, and change management activities related to the project scope.
- Support project management responsibilities, including managing project plans, resources, risks and issues.
- Partner with team members to succeed both within Legal Operations and at FTI.
- Use Advanced Microsoft Office skills; particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Maintain quality control, with experience writing/editing deliverables for effective flow, and logic.

Basic Qualifications
What You Will Need To Succeed
- 5 years of experience in Legal Operations field required.
- 2 years of client facing consulting experience is required.
- Experience with the full technology implementation lifecycle, including discovery, design, configuration, migration, integrating, testing and training.
- Experience with preparing deliverables to support Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) implementations including design requirements, design documentation, data migration maps, testing scripts, training documentation, etc.
- Experience with coordinating ELM requirements for development with technical team with quality control testing.
- Experience configuration of ELM solution(s), ELM training delivery and providing ELM technical support (as needed).
- Excellent analytical skills, with proven experience in building business models, distilling insights, and creating recommendations to resolve complex problems.
- Ability to travel to FTI office(s) as needed
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with preparing deliverables to support Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) implementations.
- Experience in projects related to corporate law department operations and technology.
- Experience in configuring ELM solutions such as TeamConnect, Onit, and CLM solutions such as Agiloft, Conga, DocuSign, or Onit.
- Relevant certifications for Agiloft, Conga, DocuSign, Onit, or TeamConnect.
- Experience with large-scale data migrations from client's legacy ELM and CLM solutions.
