We are looking for a Sr. Counsel contingent worker to join our team for a five-month period. As part of Client Legal & Public Policy Team, you will support our global Privacy compliance. Our Team consists of legal professionals and paraprofessionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets who set an extremely high bar for provision of legal services.

Basic Qualifications: • J.D. from an ABA - accredited law school • 6+ years' experience practicing as an attorney • 4+ years’ experience advising on privacy regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications: • A proven understanding of general commercial contracting and Data Processing agreements • Familiarity with EU data protection law and other privacy regimes and experience with required privacy documentation (DPIAs and LIAs) • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with cogency & empathy • Impeccable integrity, good judgment and well-honed analytical skills • Ability to see the big picture and help scale legal support of a rapidly - growing Company

Responsibilities: • Reviewing and negotiating privacy terms within commercial agreements for Client business in line with Company standards • Collaborating with Client Legal and other cross-functional teams to uphold privacy compliance and compliance with internal corporate policies and processes • Teaming with other Client attorneys and paraprofessionals to optimize support to the business • Helping to educate the business teams on contractual, regulatory and compliance issues
