Roblox is looking for an experienced Privacy Program Manager to join our Legal team!

This is a full-time position based in San Mateo, CA (hybrid structure with 3 days onsite per week) and will report to the Head of Privacy, Legal.

You will:

• Work with privacy counsel to develop and operationalize privacy controls to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, including with GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and other privacy laws;
• Manage complex privacy projects with tight timelines and work with internal stakeholders to establish roadmaps and communicate timelines and deliverables to internal stakeholders as needed;
• Support privacy product feature launch review process in close collaboration with product managers and the Trust by Design team;
• Track and oversee key projects, including the implementation of requirements from new state and international privacy regulations;
• Support privacy legal team for all audits (internal and third party), PIA/TIA/DPIA, DSAR response programs, and more;
• Assess vendor data privacy compliance in collaboration with the InfoSec team;
• Identify risks and dependencies associated with execution and deadlines; and
• Optimize internal tools and processes to increase team efficiency.

You have:

• 7+ years of experience in a role related to cross-functional project management;
• A strong understanding of business and technical requirements and obligations for privacy compliance and data protection;
• A track record of working with cross-functional teams and partners;
• Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Comfortability tackling complex matters involving multiple stakeholders;
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and workstreams; and
• The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in plain language.
