We are currently seeking a staff attorney to join our McDermott Discovery Group to be based in Washington, DC, Miami, Silicon Valley or Chicago. The ideal candidate will have the background below.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-5 years working in e-discovery, including substantial document review experience at all levels and phases of a project
- Substantial experience working with and leveraging Relativity and other e-discovery technology tools to better manage, organize, and review data
- Substantial experience analyzing and applying legal principles concerning HIPAA and privilege doctrines to discovery objectives
- Experience managing multiple projects and working effectively within a deadline-driven environment
- Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills, whether working independently or as a team member
License/Certifications:
Must be admitted to practice in the state in which you reside and must be one of the cities identified in this job description.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in Intellectual Property litigation, including patent litigation, and patent prosecution preferred but not required
- Experience working with TAR and other AI applications preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to completion
- Positive client service, results-driven attitude
