We are looking for a talented and experienced commercial lawyer to fill the position of Senior Corporate Counsel to support the Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) Sales and Marketing organization. This Senior Corporate Counsel will be part of the AWS Sales and Marketing legal team and will serve as a trusted advisor to the Global Deal Strategy & Programs (GDSP) organization, a fast-growing business that leads AWS’s most strategic commercial customer engagements across the world.

You will also need to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations and be adept at driving consensus across stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities in supporting GDSP include negotiating complex cloud services agreements, advising on regulatory and compliance issues and the launches of new products and tools, and innovating to modernize and scale our legal support. This role will also participate in other AWS legal projects, including managing issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and driving simplification efforts.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $272,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
