Responsibilities:

• Participate in the launch of new funds and support various capital-raising efforts
• Help maintain and grow the firm's existing product offerings
• Structure, manage, and negotiate joint ventures, M&A transactions, balance sheet investments, and more
• Provide support to the investment team on private investments and assist in liability management activities
• Negotiate a wide variety of agreements, such as NDAs, vendor contracts, third-party marketing, and distribution agreements
• Offer guidance and support to the compliance department

Required Qualifications:

• Possess strong academic and professional credentials, including significant experience as legal counsel at an asset management firm
• Have expertise in establishing and managing private investment funds
• Have an in-depth understanding of the Investment Advisers Act and working knowledge of the Investment Company Act and the Securities Act
• Stay informed about regulatory trends affecting the investment management sector in both the U.S. and Europe
• Excel in negotiating commercial and operational contracts
• Be licensed to practice law in New York
