Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant in San Francisco, CA. Summary: The CLO Operations team is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Operations Coordinator. As the Legal Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CLO Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to start their career in legal operations and gain valuable experience in a dynamic legal environment. Duties Include:

  • Corporate Legal Assistant will assist in overseeing the eBilling system, including tasks such as matter creation, provisioning user access, invoice review and processing, and managing timekeeper rates, among other responsibilities
  • Respond to billing and payment inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders in a prompt and efficient manner
  • As a Corporate Legal Assistant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the monthly accruals process
  • Assist with various projects and tasks as needed

Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in legal billing within a law firm or corporate law department
  • Experience with SimpleLegal or other e-Billing and payment systems

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced technical abilities (including Excel and MS Office Suite, GoogleSuite Apps)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in an exciting, fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Embody the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and accountability
  • Enthusiastic about the company and the opportunity to have a big impact

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
