Position: Counsel, Contract Administrator

Report to: General Counsel

Holtec International is seeking a Counsel, Contract Administrator to join our Office in Camden, New Jersey. The position will handle various corporate legal matters for the Company, with a primary focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating procurement contracts (subcontracts, vendor agreements, supply agreements and service agreements).
  • Assist Project Management in the review, drafting, and negotiation of the following: Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontracts, Vendor Agreement, Service Agreement, Material Supply Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and review of customer/vendor proposed terms and conditions.
  • Review, draft and negotiate government contracts and stay abreast of Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Maintain and enhance existing template procurement contracts/terms and conditions. Develop template terms to meet expanding business needs.
  • Refine subcontract risk profile and lists of contracting guidelines for the company.
  • Assist by providing legal services in connection with the drafting and/or reviewing of general business contracts relating to all areas of the company.
  • Provide legal research support to General Counsel.
  • Assist in the oversight of litigation and prosecution of commercial claims related to subcontracts, vendor or supply agreement or customer agreements.
  • Assist with collections or commercial disputes.
  • Help oversee Accounts Receivable for transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables and invoicing per the terms and conditions with customers).

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an ABA accredited law school, admitted to the New Jersey State Bar.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-5 years’ experience in in-house legal department or law firm.
  • Experience working with procurement, purchasing and supply contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Manufacturing/Energy Industry Experience preferred.
  • Regulatory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills that provide ability to interact with the most senior levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable to changing priorities.
