Job Description

The KARAMO show is seeking a LEGAL ASSISTANT. The Legal Assistant reports to the Senior Manager, Legal Administration and Line Producer. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day operational duties in connection with the production office and studio, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of show files; including such tasks as checking legal documents, copying, scanning, and interfacing with production teams
  • Assist with legal release process, including interacting with guests on a national television show
  • Assist with day-of-show administrative tasks
  • Conduct legal research and/or due diligence as needed
  • Provide administrative support to special projects

Qualifications

  • Must have a flexible schedule
  • Proficient in Outlook Calendar, Contacts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams and navigating the internet
  • Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice

Desired Qualifications/Characteristics

  • Detail-oriented, team player with great inter-personal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information and/or documentation
  • Television production and/or legal experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 6 months experience in an administrative assistant position or similar role, including internships preferred
