Job Description:
Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs
- Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers
- Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements
- Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Works with cross-functional team to prepare proposals and approvals
- Prepares and conducts negotiations
- Ability to think critically, problem solve and work independently
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments
- Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial, international and US Government customers
- Champions change management process with internal and external team
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
- Ability to clearly present information to broad audience, inclusive of management
Essential Functions:
- Ability to obtain USG clearance is desired, ability and willingness to travel, and work extended hours, as needed
Qualifications:
- Requires strong knowledge of job area. Typically viewed as having a specialty within Contracts management discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
