Our North Fort Worth based client is a national industry leader with an opening for a Paralegal or senior-level Administrative Clerk. This role is slated to be a long-term contract engagement that will likely extend. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule of 2 - 3 days onsite.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience with contracts.
• This person does not have to be a certified paralegal.
• The need is for someone who is a strong contract specialist with 5 years of experience in a big company working with sourcing legal or another related department.

What You Will Be Doing

• Will be part of the Sourcing Support team in Procurement involving 3 lawyers and 4 paralegals. Extensive training will be offered on this.
• Own the contracting process for sourcing needs, managing documents until they're executed.
• Work with lawyer and independently manage the process for a lot of things in the contract that don't need lawyer input.
• Involves receiving of the request for contract on front end managing documents, all the way until it is executed then returning it to sourcing team.
• Need good organizational skills, and they will be doing some decision making about contract drafting on their own, working with language.
• Do a lot of decision making about contracting on their own.
• Every paralegal will have dedicated contract groups which some will be high volume or lower volume complexities.
• Someone coming into new into team will start with lower complexities to ease into process.
