Legal.io is working with a tech company seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support their Litigation and Regulatory team. This is a 6 month, fully remote position - with potential to convert to a direct hire. The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude, and strong aptitude for technology.

Work to be done:

• Tackle complex matters at a high volume with a high degree of autonomy.
• Project manage all active litigation and regulatory matters, ensuring execution and response within deadline
• Review new, actual, and threatened litigation matters and draft summaries to counsel providing information such as the nature of the case, causes of action alleged, and preliminary recommendations.
• Liaise among outside counsel, Legal team, and internal clients to translate requests, conduct fact-finding, and retrieve relevant information or documents

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Working with cross-functional stakeholders, drive the development of playbooks, tools, systems, and processes that enable automation, scale, and optionality
• Create and maintain a legal knowledge management system, pulled from legal databases, news sources, and work product (such as memos, briefs, or emails)
• Facilitate the process for sourcing, selecting, and managing external service providers, including managing outside counsel actual spend against budget
• Mentor and train junior team members, and design and deliver client training

Technology: Notion, Asana, Discord, Google Suite Location : Remote Hours: 40 Hours / Week Duration: 6 Months (From 6/8/2024 until 12/11/2024) Hourly Pay Rate: $60 - $70 / hour ($120,000 - $140,000 annualized + full benefits)
