Job Summary and Qualifications
Senior Operations Counsel will provide day-to-day legal support to assigned facilities and/or service lines, and will coordinate with other corporate departments that require input from, and integration with, the operations counsel section of the legal department. Senior operations counsel will support a hospital Division and/or one or more service lines or corporate departments, working closely with leadership and providing legal representation. Responsibilities include providing guidance on physician and referral source relationships and related legal issues, including, but not limited to, the Stark Law and the Antikickback Statute, contract review, and legal assistance with related operations. The Senior Operations Counsel will report to the Associate Managing Counsel Hospital Operations or Managing Counsel as applicable, and will assist Legal Operations VP and Managing/Associate Managing Counsel on projects as assigned.
