This is a remote position that will require the candidate to work EST/CST business hours.
This position is responsible for managing and administering procurement activities in support of federal contracts and interfaces between the contracts and subcontracts team, program management, business development, compliance, and legal. Facilitates indirect procurement actions and processes independently and effectively.Builds strong relationships with internal business owners to understand indirect product and service requirements and develop and execute vendor purchase orders.
Prepares vendor agreements and related documents and coordinates terms and conditions reviews and, facilitates and/or support of negotiations and execution of basic purchase order documents within assigned business areas/categories.
Prepares Request for Quotes/Proposals (RFQ/RFP) and reviews all incoming bids to ensure compliance to the request.
Prepares and coordinate Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements.
Coordinates execution of approved documents, updates status in the system of record and assists with distributing documents, both internally and externally.
Supports the vendor due diligence and evaluation process.
Obtains proper approvals from Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, the requesting business area and any other internal stakeholders as may warrant for each purchase order.
Acts as the liaison between Legal, internal business units and the vendor representative.
Responsible for developing and documenting maintenance of all vendor related material.
Maintains purchase order documentation and file set-up information including purchase orders, change orders, funding status, invoicing status, representations/certifications, supplier qualifications, and correspondence.
Set-ups, processes and issues purchase orders, modifications, etc. in accordance with company policy.
