Job Description
The Health Care Attorney will be an integral part of the legal team supporting MU Health Care, MU School of Medicine, and other clinical operations and health schools within the University. This position will provide legal guidance on routine, moderately complex, and complex matters, aiming to ensure compliance with legal standards and policies. The attorney will collaborate within the healthcare legal team to enhance processes and offer expertise to less experienced members when necessary. They will work with university academic and business leaders to analyze problems, assess risks, and inform decisions that impact policies, procedures, and practices. Significant experience in business transactions, contracts (managed care, professional and facility service, and expense), and corporate matters is preferred.

The Health Care Attorney will play a critical role in supporting university leaders and management and ensuring the legal integrity and compliance of healthcare operations and schools within the University of Missouri system. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of quality healthcare services and the advancement of medical education and research.
