Legal.io has partnered with a leading international pharmaceutical company to add a Privacy Manager to its Legal team. This is a fully remote, full-time/W2 contract role with an initial term of 12 months.

Responsibilities

Provide support for privacy programs and projects within the company's privacy team including projects relating to new state privacy regulations (CPRA, VCDPA, etc.), privacy by design, personal information inventories, privacy impact assessments, and other cross functional privacy initiatives.

Perform and analyze privacy impact assessments and give Privacy by Design advice.

Create and improve OneTrust Assessments.

Support the company's Privacy Officer and privacy team in the preparation of development project plans and ensure appropriate follow through to achieve approved program/project objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or equivalent

JD preferred, but not required

3+ years experience experience with Privacy regulations, requirements and standards

Solid tech skills with OneTrust, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience

IAPP and/or OneTrust certifications preferred
