Legal.io is working with an established medical technology company to bring on a Senior Legal Operations Analyst, with a background in eBilling, for a 6-month contract with potential to convert. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Legal Tracker to do data pulls
- Build Dashboards and understanding legal operations from a macro perspective
- In-house experience within a life sciences company would be ideal.
- Maintain ownership of the e-billing platform and be the Company’s “go-to” person for system configuration, administration, user support and training.
- Ownership of the Legal Department’s Outside Counsel Guidelines
- Work directly with managing attorneys to better understand relevant spend and improve reporting by creating reports and analytics
- Manage the law firm and vendor onboarding process
- Review key billing and matter data sets to identify trends across functional activities; Identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in reviewing and reporting on budgets, deadlines and matter status.
- Support the Legal Operations team in updating and managing metrics and reporting and providing the subsequent data to various stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 4-6+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal Operations, or Technical Project Management-type role
- Experience with Legal Tracker, or other mainstream matter management/eBilling platform
- Experience with various legal operations programs: contract, matter, document, entity, IP or risk management systems.
Position: Senior Legal Ops Analyst (eBilling)
Pay Rate: $100,000 - $140,000 annually + benefits
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Hours Per Week: 40
Location: Remote
