What You'll Do

Sprinklr’s Legal Department is looking for a Compliance Manager to join the team.  Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, this professional will help Sprinklr build and maintain best in class programs that drive proactive risk identification and management, develop a culture of ethical conduct, operate in a public company setting, and scale to new products and services and rapidly developing global regulatory frameworks.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing function and to work on new legal, policy, and regulatory issues.  They will also play a role in other legal subject matter areas and processes, including litigation and disputes, investigations, and employment issues, and supporting ongoing legal initiatives. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and drive the company’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions, operations, and processes, and continuously improve them.
  • Provide support and programmatic advice on the development, improvement, and maintenance of risk management programs.
  • Develop and implement data-driven analysis of risk to identify trends and insights, and assess, measure, and maintain compliance with existing regulatory and third-party frameworks.
  • Drive compliance program remediations and improvements identified from post mortems, investigations, and other assessments.
  • Work closely with other cross-functional teams (especially Product, Engineering, the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer) to meet ongoing obligations, including trainings, compliance and privacy operations (such as records of processing activities, audits, disclosures), and developing public documents to build and maintain trust, and product development. 
  • Help develop and implement processes and controls to assess risk in the product development life cycle.
  • Draft, develop, and maintain policies and other governance.
  • Design and implement company-wide training materials.
  • Support and drive corporate governance and related frameworks (for example, environmental, social, and governance).
  • Support functional department requests and transactions, and assist on a variety of corporate legal issues, potential and active litigation, including investigations and fact development, assist in gathering internal information in response to regulatory requests, insurance claims reviews, various general administrative duties (such as file creation and maintenance of ongoing projects), and other initiatives as needed.
  • Help grow and scale the legal department and the company.

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified

  • Familiarity and expertise with risk management and governance, risk, and compliance management tools.
  • Experience with legal or compliance teams covering diverse geographic and risk areas (for example, privacy, vendor management, anti-corruption) in a technical landscape.
  • 4+ years of relevant corporate experience
  • Clear, collaborative communicator with a proven ability to see the big picture while also understanding the details and navigating to successful outcomes
  • Skillful drafter, issue-spotter, and problem-solver able to assess both legal and business risks,
  • Able to lead without formal reporting relationships.
  • Eager, flexible learner who's confident in handling tasks and answering questions you've never faced
  • Team player with the ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to foster and maintain good business relationships (internally and externally)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, process, and ethics.
  • Ability to maintain poise and a sense of humor in stressful situations.
  • Desire to teach and learn.
  • Willingness to expand the range of job responsibilities as needed, based on the evolution of the Company and the role.
