Perry & Villarreal is expanding its areas of practice. We are looking to hire one or more lateral associate attorneys/partners with 5 plus years of experience working with school districts and other LEAs in one or more of the following areas: labor & employment and/or general counsel. Must be licensed to practice law in California to apply for this job.

Annual Billable Hour Requirement: 1,700

P&V is a team of attorneys dedicated to working with local educational agencies in a forward thinking and student-centered manner.

The ideal candidate will have:

5 plus years of experience as an attorney in one or more of the aforementioned areas of education law.
A background in education, possibly coming from a family of educators or having worked in the education field previously.
A passion for education law.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
A desire to work in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills.
An ability to think outside of the box.
An ability to delegate work and train associates.
