Our client, a top tier litigation practice, is seeking a technically savvy and certified eDiscovery Manager responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, and improving eDiscovery guidelines and best practices related to all aspects of the electronic discovery process. Candidates with 7 or more years of eDiscovery Project Management experience in a Big Law or midsized litigation firm will be required to maintain current high-level knowledge with eDiscovery-related certifications (RCA, CEDS), which are required for consideration.
The eDiscovery Manager is responsible for each phase of the EDRM, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, analysis, review, and production of electronically stored information. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the litigation life cycle, eDiscovery technology and the ability to effectively manage technology, people and data effectively.
High-level eDiscovery technical abilities with Relativity and Brainspace (Reveal), LAW and NUIX, are required for consideration. Knowledge of discovery related legal rules, including FRCP and FRE, required. Thought leadership experience on analytics, offerings and processes such as RAL, CMML, TAR preferred. The ability to consult with clients and legal teams on use cases and practical applications is required. Training, mentoring and supporting team members.
Superior written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical requirements into simple concepts, tailored for varied audiences, are required. Compensation includes salary ($185K-$235K+), bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package. JD and previous litigation experience are preferred.
