MG+M The Law Firm is currently hiring experienced Litigation Paralegals to join our Toxic Tort/Asbestos/Silicia practice group, supporting our California-based legal teams. This position requires the ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm). Candidates located near one of our firm's office may have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis from in office. Experience handling California cases is a plus, though not required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
• Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
• Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.
• Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case material.
• Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.
• Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time.

Candidate Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Toxic Tort/Asbestos/Silica litigation is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience handling California cases is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient interpersonal skills including effective communication with both attorneys and other paralegals to accomplish goals.
• The ability to both work both independently and as part of a larger team.
• Effective problem solving capabilities.
• Preference to mid-level candidates with experience using legal systems such as Westlaw, File & Serve Xpress, PACER.
