A leading financial services/fintech company is seeking a Contracts Manager to support their Partnership and Sales Commercial Counsel team on an interim (8 month initial term), full-time (40 hours per week) basis.

Job Description:

You’ll play a key role in helping us scale commercial support across both partner integrations and merchant deals, working closely with business stakeholders to review, manage, and finalize contracts that shape how we go to market.

The ideal candidate has strong contracts management experience, an eye for detail, and comfort navigating a range of commercial agreement types—from technology integrations and referral partnerships to merchant agreements and platform deals. You’ll work alongside counsel to manage the contract lifecycle efficiently, spot risks, and support fast, thoughtful negotiations.

You Will:

  • Manage the end-to-end contract process for partnership and sales agreements, including intake, redlining, approvals, and execution.
  • Draft and revise commercial terms using templates, in coordination with legal counsel.
  • Support both partner-focused agreements (e.g. APIs, integrations, referrals) and merchant-facing deals (e.g. payment processing, BNPL, Pay Now).
  • Coordinate with internal teams across Counsel, Sales, Partnerships, Finance, InfoSec, Privacy, and other, to align on contract positions and approvals.
  • Identify and escalate legal and commercial risks and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Track contracts and maintain organized documentation using our tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve contract workflows and process efficiency.
  • Stay current on legal and industry developments relevant to commercial contracts, fintech, and technology services.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of contracts management experience, ideally in a tech, fintech, or fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Familiarity with a range of commercial agreements, including technology integrations, referral partnerships, and merchant sales contracts.
  • Excellent writing, redlining, and issue-spotting skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with CLM tools (Malbek, Ironclad, etc.) and collaborative document management.
  • A proactive, collaborative, business-friendly approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; legal training (e.g. JD, LLB, paralegal certificate) a plus.
  • Experience supporting a Sales or Partnerships team.
  • Exposure to data privacy, IP licensing, or regulatory issues in contracts.
  • Comfort with fast-paced environments and evolving priorities.
