My client is a well known energy trading firm with a global footprint looking for their first legal hire to support their new US offering.

The role will be one of the first hires the business makes in New York and will play a key role in supporting the growth of the office.

They need an attorney with an absolute minimum of 5 years experience within energy trading who can navigate all applicable documentation with ease as well as possessing a sound knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting the industry.

The position will directly report to the General Counsel as well as have a dotted line into the Business manager and Head of Trading in New York.

This is a key hire for them at a crucial moment for the business so you'd have the chance to make an instant and lasting impact.

They will require you to be admitted to at least one US state with a strong preference for New York and not require sponsorship.
