A leading global fashion and luxury holding company is seeking a Trademark & Licensing Legal Counsel with 1-5 years of experience to join its in-house legal team in New York City. This role will focus on trademark protection, brand licensing, and intellectual property (IP) management for a portfolio of globally recognized brands. The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance on trademark strategy, licensing agreements, and enforcement actions while collaborating closely with business teams to protect and enhance brand value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on trademark portfolio management, brand protection, and enforcement strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate licensing, merchandising, and co-branding agreements.
• Conduct trademark clearance, filings, and oppositions in the U.S. and internationally.
• Oversee IP litigation, enforcement actions, and counterfeit monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, advertising laws, and brand usage policies.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and commercial teams to ensure brand integrity.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and international trademark offices.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years PQE in trademark and IP law, preferably within fashion, luxury, or consumer goods industries.
• Strong experience in licensing agreements, trademark prosecution, and enforcement.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international trademark laws.
• Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment.
• Bar admission in New York (or eligibility to practice in NY).
