The Firm is seeking a Corporate Counsel (Leasing) to join the legal team. This attorney will serve as the primary legal advisor to the company in all commercial leasing matters. The position will require working closely with senior lawyers and business colleagues while supporting the asset management and general transactions teams.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating LOI’s, leases and lease amendments for medical office, life science facility, data center and retail assets.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating ancillary leasing documents, such as such as listing/commission agreements, guarantees, terminations, assignments, consents, estoppel certificates, subordinations of lien, and licenses.

Advising the asset management and transactions teams on leasing matters.
- Performing diligence reviews of lease documents in connection with acquisitions of assets.
- Managing and negotiating standard business agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements and engagement letters.
- Overseeing, and managing relationships with, outside counsel.
- Supporting the legal department’s knowledge management initiatives and establishing the general policies and guidelines for leasing documents and negotiation of leases.

$209,000 - $300,000 a year
