Job Overview/Summary
We are seeking a skilled eDiscovery Analyst to manage and process electronically stored information (ESI) for legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eDiscovery tools, data management systems, and forensic collections, ensuring compliance with legal standards and facilitating efficient litigation support.
Responsibilities
- Identify, collect, and manage ESI to assist legal teams during litigation processes.
- Utilize eDiscovery tools (e.g., Relativity, EnCase, Axiom, NUIX) to process and analyze data.
- Collaborate with legal staff to understand case requirements and provide technical support.
- Ensure the integrity and security of sensitive, confidential information.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, maintaining organizational efficiency.
- Train and mentor team members on eDiscovery best practices and tools.
Primary Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electronic discovery.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in eDiscovery data management systems and tools such as Relativity, EnCase, Axiom, and NUIX.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Experience with forensic data collections.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Capability to teach and train others.
Secondary Skills (Good To Have)
- Over 4 years of experience in data processing and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified E-Discovery Specialist or Relativity Certified Administrator.
- Familiarity with the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and proficiency in regular expressions (regex) for custom queries.
- Experience with scripting languages like SQL, PERL, or Python.
