We’re looking for a sharp, business-minded attorney to join our dynamic and fast-growing team.

Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile In-House Legal Counsel with 2–5 years of legal experience to support a broad range of legal matters across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring solid legal expertise in commercial contracts and transactions, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, data privacy, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance, and employment law.

This role will work closely with internal business units and executive leadership to proactively manage legal risks and help scale legal operations as the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer reseller, SaaS, partnership, and NDAs.
  • Provide strategic legal support for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and post-closing integration.
  • Advise on litigation and dispute resolution, working with outside counsel as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) and manage internal privacy policies and frameworks.
  • Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions, entity management, and internal policy development.
  • Provide practical guidance on employment matters, including onboarding, separation, compensation, and workplace investigations.
  • Monitor evolving laws and regulations, providing internal education and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, HR, Finance, and Procurement teams to support business initiatives while mitigating legal risk.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Florida or California.
  • 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, including at least 1–2 years in-house or advising high-growth businesses.
  • Strong experience with commercial contracts and transactions, and solid working knowledge of at least three of the following: M&A, litigation, data privacy, corporate governance, compliance, or employment law.
  • Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with practical business solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Orlando, FL or Orange County, CA.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 (based on experience and location).
  • Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus, typically 15-25% of base salary.
  • Equity: Stock options or RSUs based on company performance and role level.
