Job Description

Ford Motor Credit Company ("Ford Credit") seeks an entry-level paralegal to join the Legal Office in Dearborn, supporting Ford Credit business operations.

The Ford Credit team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

As a global leader in advanced mobility solutions, our outstanding team of legal professionals helps us navigate the continually changing legal and regulatory landscape. In our Office of General Counsel, you’ll be part of an organization that collaborates with outside counsel to operate as a global team and deliver world-class legal, tax and audit services to client groups throughout the company.

This is a hybrid role to Dearborn, MI and will be required to work onsite 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

What you'll do…

Work collaboratively with members of the Ford Credit Legal Office to develop practical legal advice that demonstrates a strong understanding and application of the law to Ford Credit’s businessAssist attorneys to develop legal advice for Ford Credit management that improves Company decision-makingSupport the core business of Ford Credit while also participating on cross- functional project teamsAssist attorneys in ensuring all procedures, processes, systems, and documents comply with applicable law and corporate policiesAssist attorneys with and perform legal research and analysisSupport monitoring for compliance with laws, regulations, guidance issued by relevant regulatory bodies, and Company policyWork in a hybrid environment (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Qualifications

You'll have...

Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal Certificate (if Bachelor's degree is not in Paralegal Studies) - to be completed by Spring 2025Strong research and writing skillsStrong verbal, written and interpersonal skillsStrong academic credentialsStrong computer skills including Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize assignments
