Kraft Heinz and NIKE Announce New Legal Leadership

Kraft Heinz and NIKE Appoint New Chief Legal Officers: Corporate legal leadership sees a dynamic shift as Kraft Heinz appoints Angel Shelton Willis as Executive VP and Global General Counsel, while NIKE promotes Rob Leinwand to Chief Legal Officer.

Two corporate giants, Kraft Heinz and NIKE, Inc. have each announced key leadership appointments that are set to bolster their executive teams.

The Kraft Heinz Company has welcomed Angel Shelton Willis into the fold as the new Executive Vice President, Global General Counsel and Corporate Affairs Officer. Willis, whose tenure at Sealed Air Corporation as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary saw her leading global legal, ethics and compliance, and corporate affairs, is poised to play a crucial role in Kraft Heinz's corporate journey. Carlos Abrams-Rivera, CEO of Kraft Heinz, has lauded Willis for her strategic vision and legal expertise, which are anticipated to reinforce the company's legal framework and contribute to its ambitious 10-year strategy.

Willis's career trajectory, which includes over 14 years at Ingersoll Rand Company and roles at Cummins, Inc. and Ice Miller, is marked by her comprehensive legal and corporate governance experience. Her education, with a BA in Economics and Political Science, an MBA, and a JD, all from reputable institutions, further underscores her preparedness for this pivotal role at Kraft Heinz. Simultaneously, NIKE, Inc. has announced the promotion of Rob Leinwand to Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer. His promotion comes as a testament to his exceptional legal expertise and his reputation as a trusted advisor within the company.
