Robinson brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, where she has demonstrated a strong commitment to legal excellence and transparency. Robinson joins Vanguard from KPMG LLP, where she served as Vice Chair and General Counsel for Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance. Her previous roles include Acting General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and positions at WilmerHale LLP, where she gained extensive experience in managing complex legal issues.
Robinson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies and a Certificate in Women’s Studies from Duke University, a post-graduate degree in African Studies from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. Her extensive educational background complements her professional experience and enhances her ability to contribute effectively to Vanguard's mission.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Robinson actively serves on the boards of the National Women’s Law Center and the Ethics Research Center and is a member of the board of visitors for the Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy.
