We're thrilled to announce the launch of Posts on the Legal.io platform. This isn’t just another social feature – it’s a transformative step towards building the future of legal work.
Building a platform tailored to the legal vertical allows us to better serve the needs of the 50,000+ members in our network. With Posts, we’re introducing the ability for verified in-house legal professionals to engage with a curated network of peers, including the option to ask questions anonymously, and to browse member contributions based on a legal-specific taxonomy, from “Antitrust” to “Contracts” and “Privacy”.
At Legal.io, we believe the legal profession can be a powerful force for positive change in society, technology, and innovation. Posts is the newest addition to the Legal.io Platform to empower this change, with the feature now available to verified in-house legal professionals Groups exclusively accessible to other and more specific segments of our membership (e.g. only accessible to General Counsel or Attorneys in BigLaw) will roll out over the coming months.
We're living through a fundamental transformation in how we work and connect, and the legal industry is no exception. As in-house teams and law firms go remote and distributed-first, a new generation of legal talent is emerging, seeking flexible ways to craft their unique career paths.
The legal profession has long lacked a dedicated platform that truly serves its unique needs. On one end of the spectrum, we have broad networks like LinkedIn, which aren't tailored to the specific requirements of legal professionals. On the other end, there are numerous closed, member-only networks that act as walled gardens, accessible only to paid users.
We’re on a mission to combine the best of both worlds, creating an open platform specifically designed for legal professionals, without these barriers to access. In doing so, our goal is to create a space of belonging that moves the careers of our members and the legal field as a whole forward.
With the introduction of Posts, Legal.io members can connect, ask questions, share insights, engage in discussion, celebrate wins, and grow their careers. We're building a community that understands and caters to the unique challenges and opportunities of the legal world. It joins our other tools, available on the Legal.io platform:
Job Board: 3,000+ in-house legal jobs posted at any time, including exclusive in-house opportunities from Legal.io clients
Salary Insights: 35,000+ unique pieces of compensation data, based on public data and contributions by our members
RFP Tool: Hire top talent for temporary and permanent in-house roles from our network of 50,000+ members
To access Posts, simply log in to your account. From your Dashboard you can create your first post, browse content from other users, and start engaging with the community.
We're excited to see how you'll use this new tool to connect with peers, share knowledge, and advance your career. As always, we're committed to continually improving our platform to meet the evolving needs of legal professionals like you.
Stay tuned for more updates and new features coming soon!
Note: We're rolling out this feature gradually to ensure the best possible experience for all our users, and we’re starting with in-house legal professionals. If you don't see Posts yet, don't worry – we plan on gradually rolling out to all users.
