Jonathan Leiken has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary of Dollar Tree, Inc. With this appointment, Mr. Leiken brings over 20 years of legal expertise and a diverse corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation background.
Mr. Leiken’s most recent role was at Diebold Nixdorf, Inc., a global technology company, where he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary. Before that, he demonstrated his legal acumen as a partner at Jones Day’s renowned law firm. His public service experience includes serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York (Criminal Division).

His commitment to civic engagement is evident through his role as the president of The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and as an adjunct law professor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
