We handle litigation and arbitration, perform research and due diligence, aid in financing and legal filings, deal with contracts and intellectual property rights that show our commitment to clients, shareholders, and regulators. Responsibilities:

  • Leading and providing strategic, hands-on advice on complex commercial litigation.
  • Managing external counsel and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Advising business and control groups within the firm on commercial issues and reputational risk.
  • Cyber privacy experience preferred 

Qualifications:

  • Lawyer with 6+ years’ experience at a leading law firm, financial services in-house position, or a relevant government/regulatory agency.
  • Commercial Litigation experience required.
  • Significant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationship with relevant business and control groups within the firm; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply, and to present clear choices.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced high-pressure environment, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to assess risks.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous matters under deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
  • Experience handling derivative or class action litigations and/or responding to parallel regulatory inquiries preferred.

 Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $170000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
