Achieving our goals requires strong collaboration and partnership between our teams and our internal stakeholders. To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. To provide our employees with flexibility, we offer a unique benefit where employees at Fanatics' corporate entity can work remotely for up to four weeks per year, which can be taken in daily or weekly increments.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced paralegal or legal assistant to join the Fanatics Corporate legal team. The role will be based at Fanatics’ global headquarters in NYC’s West Village. Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

The Legal Assistant will provide support for a wide variety of matters for the FHI legal team including, without limitation, the following key day-to-day responsibilities:

Prepare drafts of written communications, including letters, notices, and other related documents;Maintain corporate entity management platform, which includes working with our various corporate service agents on state & local filings and annual reports to ensure legal compliance; Draft, file and manage corporate filings, including filings related to entity formation & dissolution; Assist with maintaining corporate records, corporate governance policies, and board and committee meeting minutes; Assist with research and information gathering;Organize and update deal status reports and trackers;Proofread wide variety of legal documents;Review, organize, file, and update a wide variety of litigation and insurance-related documents and reports;Manage administrative elements of litigation (e.g., signatures, document assembly, settlement payments, internal files); Work closely with attorneys in connection with updating policies and preparing materials for training sessions; andConduct pre-onboarding diligence/screening for potential vendors and partners.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent At least three (3) years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, including working with complex organizational/entity structures. Experience with international entities a plus.Paralegal certificate/experience is a plusStrong oral and written communication skillsSuperior interpersonal skills; ease in working with people up and down the organizational hierarchyProficiency in MS Office skills (i.e., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), Adobe, and DocuSign. Experience working with corporate entity management platforms a plus.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
