In this newly created position, the Head of Legal Operations will support Legal team leadership in overseeing the business management of the team to drive operating excellence, efficiency and superb client service. The position will oversee all budget, process and operating aspects of Meta’s outside counsel and legal vendor relationships, working closely with Legal leadership and Finance partners; and will oversee leadership of Meta Legal’s Technology Solutions, Program Management, and Legal Data and Software Development teams in delivering innovative solutions to enhance team efficiency. In these capacities, the Head of Legal Operations will focus on optimizing Meta’s legal spend and proactive management of strong partnerships with outside counsel, and integrating AI-driven solutions and other new technologies into the work of the team. The role will report to the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and will interface with Finance, HR and other cross-functional partners across the team and company. The position will support the CLO and Legal team leadership in driving a teamwide culture of professional excellence and efficiency. This role will require an individual who has a strong combination of legal and business expertise, communication skills, project and relationship management, negotiation and analytical skills. This individual will be a seasoned leader who can successfully drive change in an organization of Meta’s size and complexity. This is a unique opportunity to lead a global operations team and play an integral role in managing strong outside counsel relationships, driving innovation and efficiency in the delivery of legal services, and deploying best in class management skills to serve a world-class legal department.
