Legal.io is working with a renowned software that focuses on semiconductor-related tools and applications. This organization is seeking a 100% remote, privacy counsel on for a limited project.

Specific work to be done / experience required:

Assist with developing privacy training materials for new hires globally

Oversee compliance documentation and manage outside privacy counsel regarding privacy compliance, specifically with regard to China’s new PIPL and Standard Contractual Clauses

Backstop company’s Chief Privacy Officer while they are on vacation during the month of September

Escalate privacy issues to Senior VP, Legal/internal Information Security team/outside counsel as necessary

Qualifications:

CIPP/A (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Asia) certification is desirable

Experience directing and managing outside legal counsel is preferable

Bilingual Mandarin/English would be great but not essential

Independent, Organized

Role Details:

Duration: 1 Month (From 8/14/2023 until 9/22/2023)

40 hours per week

Hourly Pay Rate: $140 - $195per hour
